Age 64, died Saturday, October 27, 2001, at his home. Michael was born on May 7, 1937, in Neenah to the late Benjamin and Phoebe (Maney) DeBroux. He married Yvonne (Bunton) Strandell on June 30, 1967, in Appleton. Michael was a retired truck driver and was currently a redeliverer for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Survivors include Yvonne; his son, Doug (Kari) Strandell, and their children, Kristen, Nathan and Laura, Pine Island, Minnesota; his daughter Debra (Brian) Johnson, West Jordan, Utah, and her children, Matthew Shebilske and Ryan Wilcox; his brothers, E. Patrick (Lorna Jean) DeBroux, Neenah, and Richard R. (Donna) DeBroux, Menasha; his nieces, Christine DeBroux and Melissa DeBroux; his nephew Mark P. (Julie) DeBroux; and twin grand nieces. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2001, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton, with Rev. Tim Kinney officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established in his name.
