Maureen D. Schleisner

April 25, 1933 — May 22, 2021

Maureen D. Schleisner, age 88, of Appleton, passed away at her home on May 22, 2021. Maureen was born in Appleton to Martin and Helen (Cain) Donohue on April 25, 1933.  She worked as a family law mediator until she retired at the age of 80.

Maureen at 88 stayed youthful, vibrant, interested and interesting her entire life. No matter the difficulty, she overcame it.  Her interests in the arts, music, her beloved lifelong home of Appleton, and Lawrence University allowed her to help and support many others along her path.

Our mother was beautiful, wise, smart, sharp, quick-witted, kind, generous, loving and deeply devoted to her friends our family. She adored her home, Appleton, and us. We will miss her profoundly, our mom, our treasure.
