Mory W. Vanden-Wyngaard “Wiener”, 90, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018, at Century Oaks, Appleton. He was born on October 12, 1927, in Kaukauna, the son of Joseph and Rose (Cloutier) Vanden-Wyngaard. Mory was united in marriage to Lucille Van Gompel in 1947, and she preceded him in death in 1979. He then married Lola Luedtke on April 8, 1982. Mory was employed with Thilmany Inc. for 38 years, retiring in 1989. Mory enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing poker with his boys, and gambling. He loved to spend time “Up North.”
Mory is survived by his wife: Lola; 6 children: Dennis (Bobbie), David (Dawn), Alan (Patricia), Tom (Julie), Rick (Laura), and Susie (Rick) Kain; 4 step-children: Jeff (Jean) Whiting, Lynda (Tom) Schmidt, Greg (Jennifer) Whiting, Denny (Debbie) Whiting; 28 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his first wife and parents, Mory was further preceded in death by 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral Mass. Inurnment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.
