Mary R. Grieshaber

Age 90, died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at the Appleton Medical Center. Mary was born in Appleton on May 19, 1914, son of the late George and Alma (Renn) Grieshaber. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was also an avid sports fan. For many years Mary worked for Appleton Mills and also volunteered as a Pink Lady at St. Elizabeth Hospital and at Appleton Memorial Hospital. Mary is survived by her brother: Robert (Shirley) Grieshaber of Racine; a sister: Angeline Grieshaber of Portland, Oregon; a sister-in-law: Mary Ellen Grieshaber of Oak Lawn, Illinois; a niece: Karen (Gary) Branton of Las Vegas and their children; a nephew: Robert Grieshaber; and her friends Betty and Norma from Carolina Manor, as well as the other residents there. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and by seven brothers and sisters: Barbara, Frances, Celia, George, Andy, Carl, and Alma.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. There will be no visitation.

It was important to Mary that everyone know of the great assistance that her dear friend Shirley Jensen provided to her. Shirley meant a lot to Mary, and Mary was always thankful for her help.
