Mary M. Loos, of Appleton, formerly of Mackville, age 90, went to be with her Lord, Friday, December 24, 2004. She was born May 10, 1914, to the late John and Ella (Rickert) Dresang, in Mackville, where she was a resident all of her life. Maggie and her husband, Herbert R. Loos, farmed in the town of Ellington for many years. She enjoyed doing crafts, knitting, gardening, playing sheepshead and was an avid Packer fan. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, Mackville. Survivors include three children, Patricia (Gordon) Kronberg, Indiana; Audrey Heimmermann, Appleton; Gerald (Lois) Loos, Town of Ellington; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Vosen and Ellen Peckham, both of Appleton; a brother, John Dresang, Folsom, CA; two sisters-in-law, Eleanor Loos and Viola Dresang and the three ladies she played cards with every Wednesday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert R. Loos, October 16, 1979, a granddaughter, Alice Heimmermann, November 1966, a son-in-law, Ray Heimmermann, a brother, Willard Dresang, three sisters, Loretta Toepfer, Aurelia Endter, Mildred Speutels. The funeral liturgy for Mary will be held at 12:00 pm (Noon), Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at ST. EDWARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, Highway 47 North, Mackville, with Father Charles Brooks officiating. Entombment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church, on Wednesday, from 9:00 am, until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
