A joyful family celebrates the passing of Mary Knoke. In her 59 years, Mary cared for hundreds of children throughout the Valley. She started at an early age to care for her sisters and continued to care for all who where in need, and caring for her four grandchildren , who brought her such joy and happiness. The love that Mary had for those in need was so great, she often cared for children at her own expense. Mary was born August 4, 1942 to the late Gordon Kain and Viola Caukin in Appleton. She married Herman Knoke on November 17, 1962 in Gresham, he survives her.
She was a loving wife to Herman; a wonderful mother to her three children, Scott and Kristy Knoke, Wade and Penny Knoke and Nicole and Ted Olson. Mary cherished her four grandchildren, Amanda and Christina Olson and Samual and Rebecah Knoke. She will also be greatly missed by her three sisters, Florence, Elizabeth and Patricia and many relatives and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon and brother, Gordon, Jr.
