Age 65, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2003 at her home. She was born on November 27, 1937 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of the late George W. and Mabel (Tyre) Bane. She graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1960. She practiced physical therapy for over 40 years at several health care facilities including Theda Clark for 20 of those years, Central Wisconsin Rehabilitation Associates, Clintonville Clinic O.P. Services, the Veterans Hospital in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County Hospital, and a variety of nursing homes in the area from Peshtigo to Fond du Lac. She married Anton Dombrowski, Sr. on June 15, 1963.
She is survived by her husband Anton “Tony” Dombrowski of Appleton, her children: Anton J. (Mari) Dombrowski, Therese (Harold) Peaslee, all of Appleton, Christine (Jody) Zepnick of Green Bay, Lynn Mary (Bob) Wulf of Orlando, Florida, and Timothy Dombrowski of Appleton, her grandchildren: Vincent, Sarah, Luke, John and Catherine Dombrowski, and Brianna, and Alex Zepnick. Mary Lou is also survived by a sister-in-law Eleanor Bane of Omaha, Nebraska, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin brother Mark who died in infancy, and her brother George L. Bane of Omaha, Nebraska.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 23, 2003 at 5:00 PM at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 West Pine Street in Appleton with the Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday from 3:00 PM until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Curtis Baltz and his staff and the staff of Theda Care at Home for all of their kindness and care.

We love you very much. You’ll always be with us in everything we do. The little every day things in our lives won’t be the same without you here. Your presence is with every one of us in all kinds of different ways.
We miss you already.
We love you forever.
