Mary Kay Molitor, age 47, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 10, 2005, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Mary Kay was born in Antigo on August 1, 1958, daughter of the late Pat Molitor and Beverly (Schuh) Molitor of Antigo. She attended Antigo High School, and was married to Joe Menting from 1975 until 1989. She enjoyed crafts and gardening.

Mary Kay is survived by her mother: Beverly Molitor of Antigo; a daughter: Jennifer (Karl) Schmidt of Hilbert and their daughter Emma; a son: Jason Menting of Antigo; four sisters: Linda (Tom) Hart of Casper, Wyoming; Diane (Larry) Schremp of Dixon, Illinois; Sandy (Mike) Sylfest of Appleton; and Kathy (George) Steckbauer of New London; two brothers: Mike (Roxanne) Molitor of Hatley and Patrick Molitor of Wausau; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, and two nephews John Molitor and Joshua Sylfest.

Graveside services for Mary Kay will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Antigo.

The family would like to thank the many special people who cared for Mary Kay during her struggle. They include the entire staff at the Appleton Medical Center, especially Dr. Phillips and Dr. Krueger, everyone at the Martha Siekman Cancer Center, the ThedaCare At Home hospice staff, especially her nurse Paul Halbach, her chaplain Jordan Kuczwara, and her counselor Ann.
