Mary Jane Morton, age 91, of Appleton, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014. She was born on February 9, 1923, in Cadott, the daughter of the late Emil and Kate (Edington) Welke. Mary was married to William Gantzert and Jack Morton, they both preceded her in death. Prior to moving to the Fox Valley area, she was the owner of Service Master in Eau Claire. Mary was active with the Triniteam Care Givers, an organization that assisted the elderly with services in the community. She attended church faithfully, and her mission was to share God's love with everyone she met. Mary loved to entertain and bring people together. Many knew her as a very Christ like lady and the most loving non-judgmental person you will ever meet.
Mary is survived by her children, Dennis D. Gantzert and Robin Gantzert; grandchildren, Kim Gantzert, Janet Gantzert, Denny W. Gantzert, Denny J. Gantzert, and Willie Gantzert; great grandchildren, Brooke, Paige, Brandon, Breanna, and Annabelle; daughter-in-law, Judy Gantzert; nieces, Leone “Sis” Johnson and Jane Welke; nephews, Jim Welke and Greg Welke. She was preceded in death by her husbands, three brothers, and a sister.
