(Guenther) Chmiel. She lovingly taught kindergartners at Jefferson Elementary School in the Appleton School System for 35 years, earning the love and respect of students, parents and colleagues alike. She married Joseph J. Garvey on July 11, 1981 in Knowlton. Jane was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Appleton. Jane was recognized for her accomplishments throughout the years.
