Age 81, passed away following a lengthy battle with cancer, on Thursday, February 01, 2001, at Franciscan Care Center in Appleton. She was born on September 14, 1919, in Otsego, Michigan, the daughter of the late Walter and Marian (McCormick) Stinson. Mary Jane was employed by the Outagamie County Health Center as a receptionist for 19 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church. Mary Jane was a very giving person, she enjoyed cooking, going to rummage sales and visiting her friends. She is survived by her son, David Deyo of Appleton; a daughter, Linda Newton of Idaho; five grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, and Peter Deyo all of Appleton; Kimberly (Dan) Riley of Hartland; Timothy (Patricia) Newton of Texas; two great grandchildren, Samantha Riley of Hartland and Zachary Ludoff of Appleton. Mary Jane is further survived by three sisters, Jackie (Cal) Enix of White Pigeon, MI; June (Allen) Urben of Glenden Beach, OR; Jean Devereaux of Jackson, MI; and a brother, Bob (Maureen) Stinson of Claire, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Deyo. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2001, at the funeral home, the Rev. Mara Liz Rivera officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
