Mary Helen Bergeron

Age 79. Mary Bergeron died peacefully with her family at her side at Parkside Care Center in Little Chute. She was born to the late Eathen and Emilia Brewster on February 25, 1922. Mary and Joseph Begeron, who preceded her in death in 1993, were married at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna on September 9, 1944 and were happily married for 49 years. She worked for 25 years as a book keeper for Look’s drugstore. Travels around Lake Superior were enjoyed by Mary as well as being a devoted member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Mary is survived by her son, Robert Bergeron, Kaukauna; daughter, Susan Bergeron, Kaukauna; Sisters, Geri (Walter) Molda, Appleton; Margaret and Florence Brewster, Kaukauna; Brothers, Robert Brewster, Jackson, Michigan; Francis Brewster, Colorado Springs, Colorado; James (Dolores) Brewster, Piedmont, California; brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis (Madelyne) Bergeron, Kaukauna; James (Juletta) Bergeron, Kimberly; Millie (Roger) Olm, Reedsville. Mary is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Brewster and Marge Fisher.

A funeral liturgy will be conducted at 11:00 AM on August 23, 2001 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer St., with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery following the service.

The Family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caregivers at Parkside Health Care and Rehabilitation. Their love and compassion helped Mary through her difficult times, from beginning to end. A memorial fund for the residents of Parkside is being established.
