Age 91, formerly of Great Falls, MT, passed away in Kaukauna, WI on Saturday, September 2, 2006. She was born in New Baden, IL, daughter of the late Peter and Rosa (Spitcka) Marsik. On August 14, 1937 she married her husband of 40 years, Fred Hannula. He preceded her in death in 1977. Mary enjoyed reading and going for long car rides. She served on the election boards for the City of Great Falls for many years and was an active member of First English Lutheran Church in Great Falls, MT.
Mary is survived by her children: Marilyn (Darrol) Bauer of Austin, TX, and Donna (Thomas) Clementi of Appleton, WI; grandchildren: Diane (Steve) Beaudoin, Karen (Nigel) Cave, and Mary and Laura Clementi; great-grandchildren: Michael and David Beaudoin and Lea Cave; and a brother, Tony (Pearl) Marsik of Great Falls, MT. She is further survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gus and Ronnie Hannula of Lewistown, MT, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred; brothers, Willie (Marion) and Joseph; and sisters: Rose (Henry) Hartse and Helen (Disney) Beattie.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later time at First English Lutheran Church in Great Falls, Montana.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Kindred Hearts and to Heartland Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Furthermore, a special thank you is extended to Pastor McQuistion and Pastor Nokleberg, both of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, for visiting Mary.
