Age 70 , died Friday evening, June 20, 2003, at Cherry Meadows Hospice. She was born November 2, 1932, daughter of the late Grace (Zuehlke) Belling and was a life long resident of Appleton. She married Alvin R. Golz, on June 12, 1954, sharing 40 loving years together, he preceded her in death on September 30, 1994. Mary was an active member of First English Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, a Parish Board Member and a member of the Sarah Circle and Altar Guild. Mary is survived by two beloved sons and their spouses, Robert and Kathy Golz, Menasha; Steven and Silvia Golz, Appleton; four wonderful grandchildren, Jason Michael Golz, Ashley Marie Golz, Jacob Robert Golz and Matthew Steven Golz; a sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Don Burmeister, Appleton; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Nancy Belling, Appleton; nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services for Mary will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, corner of Drew and North Streets, with Reverend J. Christian Quello and Reverend Willis Bloedow officiating. Entombment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 am Wednesday, until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
