Mary Catherine Braun

Our beloved sister, Mary Catherine Braun, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2008 at the Appleton Medical Center. Mary was born in New London on November 24, 1950, daughter of the late Raymond and Virgillia (Ahsman) Braun. When she was young, Mary attended Plamann School in Appleton and was currently employed at Valley Packaging Industries. She enjoyed bowling, swimming, dancing, singing, and spending time at day camp. Mary is survived by eleven brothers and sisters: Carmen Beyer of Appleton; James (Barbara) Braun of Sun City West, Arizona; Barbara (David) Husman of Appleton; Kenneth (Joyce) Braun of Black Creek; (sister-in-law) Marilyn Braun of Black Creek; Dennis (Marlene) Braun of Appleton; Gerald (Jane) Braun of Appleton; Sharon (David) O'Shasky of Appleton; Sandra Braun of Lansing, Michigan; Vicki Van Vreede of Little Chute; Thomas (Barbara) Braun of Appleton; and Donald (Pamela) Braun of Appleton. Mary was very special to many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother David Braun, sister Natalie Braun, and brother-in-law: Vernon Beyer.

The funeral liturgy for Mary will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W. Lawrence Street in Appleton with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Black Creek. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service. The family has suggested that memorial contributions be directed to Agape, or to the charity of your choice. A sincere thank you to Agape for all the years of love and care for our sister, Mary.
