Age 75, died Wednesday evening, January 8, 2003 following a brief illness. She was born November 30, 1927 to the late Henry and Jeanette (Sabel) Karls, in New Holstein and had been an Appleton resident for 56 years. Mary Ann married Daniel A. Limpert, Sr. January 26, 1946 in Sheboygan Falls. She had been employed for many years by George's Steak House, the Left Guard and retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital in 1990 after 17 years of employment. Mary Ann was a life long Packer Fan, which she passed onto her children, she enjoyed bowling and golf. Survivors include her husband, Daniel A. Limpert, Sr. ; five children and their spouses, Judy and Bill Walker, CO; Gary and Barb Limpert, Appleton; Daniel and Pat Limpert, Jr., Town of Clayton; Scott and Deb Limpert, Appleton; Kelly and Cal Watters, Appleton; 11 grandchildren, Tim (Barb) Hanson, Mike (Amy) Hanson, Tracy Griesbach (friend Rick), Jim Hanson (friend Simone), Rhonda (friend Matt) and Adam Limpert, Amanda and Nick Siebers, Jessica, Tyler and Jamie Limpert; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Laverne Karls, CA; and her devoted friend, Debo. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny and her grandson, Ryan Limpert. A private family memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

Mom you will be dearly missed everyday, but never will a Packer game go by that we won't remember your love of the Packers and the same love you passed to all of us for the green and gold. We love you.
