Mary Ann Forbes “Ma”

Age 44, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2002 at home after a courageous fight with cancer.
Mary was born on August 16, 1957 the daughter of John and Lucille (Heindl) Hammes. She was most recently employed at Banta Packaging & Fulfillment, and for many years prior at Cranky Pats, where she made life long friends with her coworkers and customers. Mary was a dedicated wife, mother, hard worker, and often putting others before herself.

Mary is survived by her husband, Michael; four children, Lisa (Casey) McMillen; Christopher Lee Forbes; Christina (Jerome) Robinson (Schuh) and Matthew Schuh; two brothers, Ron Hammes and Michael (Sharon) Hammes; two sisters, Sandy (Ken) Rozek and Patty (Greg) Muthig; grandmother, Clara Heindl; best friend, Tena Manteufel; two brothers-in-law, Larry (Diane) Hupf and Patrick (Jo) Forbes; sister-in-law, Darlene McQuain; mother-in-law, Elaine S. Forbes; friends, Steve McMillen and Gordon Schuh Jr. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Sarah Beth Schuh.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
