Mary A. Schultz
Appleton
Age 83, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 28, 2001 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born on March 27, 1918 in Manitowoc the daughter of the late Fred and Myra (Imes) Klapstein. On May 24, 1941 she married Arthur “Pete” Schultz in Appleton at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. They enjoyed 60 years together. She was employed as a teacher’s aid at Morgan School where she worked with the physically handicapped children. She was active with her husband in Schultz Oil Co. for many years. She loved to express herself through music, crafts, sewing, tole painting, and after retirement enjoyed traveling in their Winnebago motor home. She was a member of Riverview Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband Arthur “Pete” Schultz of Appleton; her daughter Sandra (Jim) Peotter of Kodiak, Alaska; her sisters-in-law Irene Krueger of Neenah, and Mary Klapstein of Milwaukee; her nieces Cheryl Steckling of Neenah and her children Scott and Mark of Appleton; and Janice (Rick) Angeline and their family of Cecelia, Kentucky; and a nephew David (Patti) Klapstein of Milwaukee.
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, November 3, 2001 at 10:30 AM at Riverview Lutheran Church, 136 West Seymour Street with the Rev. Dennis Belter officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of the services. A memorial fund is being established for Rawhide Boys Ranch.
