Mary A. Sieg

Mary A. Sieg (Beyersdorf) passed away peacefully at home on April 10^th, 2021. She was born to Henry H. Beyersdorf and Priscilla S. (Smith) Beyersdorf on February 13^th, 1931. She married the love of her life Roy Sieg on September 2, 1950 at St. Paul Church in Appleton and they celebrated 66 years together. Mary worked at Zwicker Knitting Mills for many years, and she enjoyed casino trips, going to church, and shopping. Mary was a member of St. John UCC. She had a love of laughter that was contagious. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. Most of all, she was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, and loving grandmother who enjoyed time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Gary (Valerie) Sieg, Randy (Debi) Sieg; grandchildren, Lisa Sieg, Shaina Rodgers; great grandchildren, Cayden, Prestyn, Skylyn; one sister-in-law, Janice Beyersdorf; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Sieg; parents, Henry and Priscilla Beyersdorf; brother, Hank Beyersdorf Jr.; sister, Gladys Armitage; brother and sister-in-laws, Calvin Armitage, Irene Biebow, Harold Biebow, Arvin Sieg, Anna Sieg, John Wilk, Myrtle Wilk; and 4 nieces and 3 nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 18^, 2021, at Wichmann Funeral Home 537 N. Superior St. Appleton from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Service will be held at 1:00 pm.

The family would like to send a special thank you to her caretaker Deb Miller, and ThedaCare Hospice.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established by the family.
