Marvin M. Beyer

Age 80, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2001. Marvin was born on February 11, 1921, to the late Gustav and Mathilda (Uhlenbrauch) Beyer. He was married to Margaret Brandt for 47 years. Activities enjoyed by Marvin include motorcycling, small game hunting, listening to polka music, and dancing. As a soldier of WWII, Marvin served proudly in the United States Army and fought in the Philippines. Marvin is survived by five children; Barbara (Gary) Schultz, Kimberly; Marvin M. Beyer, Jr., Menasha; Beverly (William) Hafs, Denmark, WI; Daniel W. Beyer, Kaukauna; Robin (Dan) Burton, Kimberly; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a special friend, Herald Techlin, Appleton; and other relatives and friends. Marvin is preceded in death by his wife Margaret, two brothers, and one sister. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2001, at 12:00 p.m., at Riverview Evangelical Lutheran Church, 136 West Seymour St., Appleton, with Rev. Belter officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The final resting place will be at Highland Memorial Park.
