Age 74, died peacefully at home on Thursday, June 1, 2006. He was born in Kimberly on September 1, 1931, son of the late Walter and Ida (Natrop) Romenesko. Marv attended St. John’s in Little Chute, U.W.-Oshkosh and St. Colleta College. Marv served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion, Post 258. On October 6, 1953 he married his wife of 53 years, Sheila Ebben, at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. He retired from the Appleton School System after teaching children with special needs for 30 years. He loved spending time at his cottage on Archibald Lake. His wife and children were a source of peace, love and comfort during his final days. They called him the “dad who could do anything” as he was always there to lend a helping hand.

Marv is survived by his wife, Sheila; children: Lynn Palubicki of Green Bay, her daughter, Jordan, and her special friend, Tom Linssen; Robin Milis of Appleton and her children: Dylan, Molly and Sydnee; Brad (Jill) Romenesko of Marinette and their children: Hannah, Taylor and Jake; Lisa Romenesko of Longview, TX; Tammy (Kurt) Zacharias of Hudson and their children: Quinn and Griffin; Kelly (Mark) Cooke of Dallas, TX; and Kim (Jeff) Schuhart of Appleton and their children: Samuel and Grace; sister, Dorothy Kempen of Little Chute. He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dave Milis.

The funeral liturgy will be at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2006 at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 E. Wallace St., Combined Locks, with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Theda Clark, Appleton Medical Center, St. Paul Home, and Theda Home Care Hospice for their dedication and loving care.
