Marlene Margaret "Molly" Sokol

Marlene “Molly” Margaret Sokol passed away peacefully on Jan 14, 2022, her 85th birthday.  She took her sass and spunk back to her beloved husband John Sokol, who passed away in 2011. She was born in the fox valley in 1937 to the late Harry and Margaret Kurowski.  She dedicated her life to her family and will always be remembered for her wit and love for others.

In heaven she reunites with her Husband John, daughter Margaret “Mickey” Sokol, and sister Colleen Resch (Roman), along with many cherished in-laws. She is survived by her sister Nancy Wilkinson (Frank), Son Steven Sokol (Bonnie), Grandchildren Hogan Sokol (Karen), John Sokol (Kari), Erick Gyrion (Aaron), and Andy Sokol (Sara). And her Great Grandchildren Jack, Natalie, Stella, and Hudsyn.  She also leaves behind countless friends and family she cared for deeply.

The family will hold a celebration of life this summer. In lieu of flowers or gifts, consider donating to Molly and John’s favorite charity, St. Judes Hospital, it will make her smile.
