Mark Brian Niemi

Mark Brian Niemi, 63, of Kaukauna WI, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, May 27, 2024. 

Mark was born in Washington DC, on July 12, 1960, to Arne and Lorraine (Mars) Niemi. 

Mark served 12 1/2 years in the United States Marine Corps as a Naval Aviator, and was a dedicated pilot with the Wisconsin Wing, Civil Air Patrol.  

Mark is survived by his wife Lori Niemi, mother Lorraine Niemi, sister Pam (Thomas) Niemi-Gering, brother Steve (Val) Niemi; son Chad (Tammie) Niemi, son Brian (Jenny) Niemi, daughter Lauren Niemi, son Matthew (Elizabeth) Niemi; grandchildren Katrina, Payton, Grayson, Riley, Vivian, and Ella. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Arne Niemi.  

A celebration of life will be held with Pastor Thomas Rouse officiating at Wichmann Funeral Home (537 N. Superior St., Appleton, WI 54911) on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 2:00 pm. There will be time for visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of service.  

In Lieu of flowers, the Niemi family is requesting memorial contributions for these charitable organizations that were dear to Mark.
