Mark J. De Leeuw, 64, Kaukauna, passed away on April 9, 2014 with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Mark was born October 12, 1949 in Appleton Wisconsin to the late Herman and Marie (Valentyne) De Leeuw. He was a graduate of Kimberly High School. On June 20, 1994 he married his wife Debbie in Appleton. He worked many years as a truck driver, most recently employed with Garrow Propane. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also loved riding his motorcycle with his dog Puff, vacations to Door County, working on cars and cactus plants.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Debbie, children: Jeff (Kristy) De Leeuw, Appleton, Dave (Michelle) De Leeuw, De Pere, and Amy (Tim) Otis, Little Chute; step-children Craig Leitzke and Corey Leitzke, Kaukauna, 8 grandchildren: Lauren, Taylor, Jack, Cash, Isaac, Caitlin, Cole and Cade, 1 brother Barry (Mary) De Leeuw as well as many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services for Mark will be Monday, April 14, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home in Kimberly. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home. For more information and to express sympathies, please visit the online guestbook at www.wichmannfargo.com.
In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established. Thank you to the St. Paul Home, rehab nurses and staff. A special thank you to Mark's brother Barry and his wife Mary for all the chicken soup and loving care given to Mark. Also a special thank you to Debbie's sister Kay for all her help.
