ZWICKER, MARK D.

Mark Zwicker, of Northbrook, Illinois, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 25, 2009. He was born on November 11, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the son of Earl and Marion (Karschney) Zwicker. Mark graduated in 1973 from Glenbrook North High School. He worked in the audio visual field for businesses in the Chicago area. Mark then met his life-time friend Randy Knowles and joined his Northshore Emergency Association. His final employment career was as a telecommunications engineer in Saudi Arabia.

Mark is survived by his father, Earl Zwicker; sisters, Lari Le (Bob) Behm and Heidi Nelson; brother, Scott (Debbie) Zwicker; uncles, David (Jan) Zwicker and Fred Zwicker and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Zwicker; sister, Robin (Dave) Behrendt and niece, Crystal Ann Behrendt.

The funeral service for Mark will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 30, 2009 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Daniel Thews officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. The visitation will take place on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
