CONARD, MARJORIE L.
Marjorie L. Conard, age 87, died at Brewster Village, Appleton, on November 12, 2006. Marjorie was born on October 26, 1919, in New Blaine, Arkansas, to the late Arthur Newton and Odessa (Sisk) Jones. Marjorie married Ralph James Conard; he preceded her in death on June 30, 1998. Marjorie enjoyed quilting, flower gardening, reading and especially watching gold and football on television. She was a member of the Catholic Ladies Altar Society and volunteered at Meals on Wheels and Caring & Sharing Food Pantry in Dardanelle, Arkansas In 1997 she moved with her husband from Dardanelle, Arkansas, to Appleton to be near her daughter. Survivors include her son, James (Diann) Conard, Carpentersville, Illinois, and her daughter, Judy Larsen, Appleton; her grandchildren, Cynthia (Wayne) Garrett, Suzanne (Ned) Dupont, Michael (Katie) Larsen and Andrew (Nicole) Larsen, Mariann Davidson, Robert (Melissa) Conard, Kristi (John) Decesare, Trent Conard and Kimberly Macheri; her great grandchildren, Bryan and Jennifer Stinski; Kaylee and Ian Garrett; Lynsey, Sadie and Gabrielle Dupont; Jonathan and Benjamin Larsen; Kody and Taylor Larsen; Kelsey, Stephanie and Mathew Conard; Adam Conard and Crystal Rainey; Jennifer and Michael Brockner; Nicholas, Jeremy and Hannah Conard; Ashley, Sarah and Anthony Macheri; her great great grandchildren, Erica Stinski and Tyler Meyers. She is further survived by her sister Arlafay McElhaney, Kinsely, Kansas, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her great grandson, Charles Macheri, her sister Corlela (Lowell) Birkhead and her beloved dog, Hugo. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 East Fremont Street, Appleton, with Fr. Robert Karuhn officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial has been established in Marjorie’s name to benefit St. Joseph Food Pantry, Appleton. The family would like to thank ThedaCare Hospice and the Brewster Village- Rosewood staff, for their loving care over the past five months. And also a special thank you to Barb and Paul.
