Marjorie Buchanan, age 71 of Appleton, passed away on May 20, 2019. She was born on July 30, 1947 in Appleton to the late Gottlieb and Ruth (Cotter) Wichmann. Marjorie was a very nice kind-hearted person who would strike up a conversation with just about anyone. She really liked people and enjoyed talking and getting to know them. Marjorie loved to play bingo and the slot machines. She hit the jackpot when she met the man of her dreams Harvey Buchanan, whom she married on November 2, 1968. They were happily married 38 years and had 4 children when cancer took the love of her life away on January 14, 2007. Her children and grandchildren were everything. She was so proud of all of them and loved them dearly. She truly enjoyed their company and looked forward to every visit. But now it was time to return to her love and dance the days away to their song Unchained Melody.
