Bryant, Marisa Teal
1824 North Erb Street
Appleton
On March 30, 2000 a beautiful ray of sunshine began to illuminate the lives of many when Marisa Teal Bryant was born. She warmed the hearts of everyone who saw her smiles. Her hearty giggle will echo in our ears for always. Marisa had a captivating personality with her playful imagination, her sense of humor and dainty ways. It was mesmerizing to watch her blond curls, precise ruby lips, and eyes that danced—eyes that truly gazed into your own. Marisa‚Äôs laughter ended way too soon after a valiant fight for survival with congenital short bowel syndrome. She formed an infection her little body was unable to overcome. Marisa died the morning of April 23, 2003. Marisa was the treasure in the lives of her daddy and mommy who surrounded her with love. It is indescribable how much they will miss her! Marisa will be missed by much loving family and friends. We cherish the yesterdays with Marisa; mourn the ‚Äúwhat could have been‚Äù; and long for the Tomorrow when she will wake up from a ‚Äúlong nap‚Äù to be reunited with us in a world free from sickness, pain and death—just as our God Jehovah has promised! Marisa is survived by her dad and mom, Jeff and Sandy Bryant; maternal grandpa, Larry Laurent and grandma, Ruth (Bruce) Tebon; great grandpa, Ernest Villers; paternal step-grandma, Marily Bryant; aunts and uncles, Tim (Gail) Bryant, Bill (Lori) Bryant, Jerry (Florida) Bryant, Linda (Jon) Fennema, Cheryl (Kent) Alkire, Kevin (Darla) Bryant, Larry (Kathy) Bryant, Debbie (Duane) Hjelmeland, Ruth Weigel, Cindy (Steve) Pierson, Brian (Jacque) Marmon, Clint Marmon, Rose (Dave) Weston, Carol (Bernie) Cooper, Paul (Vicki) Laurent, Dan (Sara) Laurent, Leah (Joenar) Salazar, Debbie (Brian) Bain; 31 cousins; and a ‚Äùgreat crowd‚Äù of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by an aunt, Tammy Laurent, paternal grandparents, Merlin and Beverly Bryant. A memorial service for Marisa will be held at 6:30 pm, Monday, April 28, 2003, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah‚Äôs Witnesses, 2909 North Roemer Road, Appleton, WI, with Jan Carlson officiating. You may start to greet the family at 4:30 pm, Monday, at Kingdom Hall.
Jeff and Sandy extend gratitude to: Dr. Robert Judd, Dr. Kurt Heyrman, and Dr. Dennis Lund, all the nurses and medical staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital and U. W. Children’s Hospital in Madison, for all the loving care they gave to Marisa.
