Marion Woldt, age 92, of Kaukauna, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at St. Paul Home with her family at her side. She was born on October 1, 1922 in Kaukauna, to the late Ernest and Pauline (Giesbers) Lettau. On October 28, 1943, Marion married Lawrence “Bud” Woldt. They owned and operated the Ranch Bar and Triangle Tavern and Restaurant. She also worked on the lunch wagon with the auctioneers and at Riverview Sanitarium for ten years until her retirement. Marion was a member of Sweet Adeline's. She enjoyed oil painting, knitting, crocheting, reading, traveling, and playing cribbage. Her family meant the world to her and she looked forward to fishing with the grandchildren.
Marion is survived by her children Larry (Sharon) Woldt, Mary Ann (Keith) De Leeuw, Gerald (Pearl) Woldt, Sharon (Glenn) Kemp, and Karen (Duane) Luedtke; eleven grandchildren Lisa Stevens, Stacey Woldt, and Aaron (Tammy) Woldt; Keith Jr. (Erin) De Leeuw, Eric (Mary Fe) De Leeuw, and Lee (Jodi) De Leeuw; Kim Moore and Craig Woldt; Jason (R.J.) Kemp-Stevens; Derek Luedtke and Ben Luedtke; fifteen great grandchildren; siblings E. Paul (Monica) Lettau, Eileen Knaack, Lois Derfus, Ken Lettau, Dorothy Batley, Jan (Gary) Knoke, and Jim (Sharon) Lettau. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marion was preceded in death by her husband Bud Woldt, brother Richard (Helen) Lettau, brothers-in-law Walter Knaack, Dave Derfus, and Jim Batley; and sister-in-law Pat Lettau.
The funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna. Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
