Age 88, died on Monday, September 3, 2001, at Century Oaks, Darboy. Marion was born on July 24, 1913, daughter of the late Harry and Frances (Patton) Doherty. On September 7, 1933, Marion married Roy Krueger, and they enjoyed 57 years of marriage, until he preceded her in death in 1991. As a young woman, Marion worked as a nurse’s aide. She was also employed as a maintenance worker at WNAM for 30 years. Marion enjoyed traveling, especially to her trailer in Northern Wisconsin, and the Door County area. She was also an avid Packer fan. Marion was a member of St. Margaret Mary’s Parish, and also a charter member of the Forever Young Group at St. Margaret Mary’s. Marion will be greatly missed by her son, Roy (Margaret) Krueger, Menasha; her daughter, Beverly (James) Labre, Neenah; her brother, Warren Doherty; her sister, Mildred Krueger; 7 grandchildren, Kirk, Dana, Roy, Eric, Michele, Lisa, Jacalyn; and 4 great-grandchildren, Rutger, Allyssa, Kara and Ava. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. Marion was preceded in death by her brother, a niece and nephew, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, September 8, 2001 at ST. MARGARET-MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 610 Division Street, Neenah, with Fr. David Koch officiating. Interment will be Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday, September 8 from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established. The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice, and especially the staff at Century Oaks Margaret House, Darboy, for their loving care in the past five years.
