Marion Arts, 95, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. She was born on September 30, 1923, in Appleton, the daughter of Frank and Clara (Jenss) Eisch. She was married to Duane W. Arts, and he preceded her in death on July 1, 2000. Marion was a charter member of St. Pius X Catholic Parish, a Girl Scout leader, past president of the Appleton Firefighters’ Auxillary, and a member of the Catholic Daugthers of America. She was also a past volunteer at Appleton Medical Center.
Marion is survived by her 2 daughters: Sharon (Schultz) Schrank and Marilyn (Jerry) Tatera; 4 grandchildren: Kari Tenley, Jennifer Williamson, Courtney (Nate) Bartlett, and Brandon Sim; great grandchildren: Richard (fiancé Chelsey Orlikowski) Allen, Taylor Tenley, Cole and Callan Bartlett, Izabella and Autumn Sim; a sister-in-law: Lauretta McKee; step-grandchildren: Dr. Mindy (Brandon) Taber, Jamie Lynn, Christie and Rick Tatera; step-great-grandchildren: Maya and Anjali Sankpal-Tatera, and River and Dallas Taber; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to Marion’s parents and husband, she was further preceded in death by a great-grandson: Tyler Tenley; 3 brothers: Frank (Ruth) Eisch, Maynard (Dorothy) Eisch, and Lee (Shirley) Eisch; and a son-in-law: Thomas Schultz.
Private family services were held. Entombment was in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Pius X Catholic Parish, Appleton, or a charity of your choice.
