Marion B Plach

Marion B. Plach 86 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 2, 2016 at St. Paul Elder Service in Kaukauna. She was born to the late Herbert and Beatrice (Frappy) Mirkes on February 11, 1930 in Appleton, WI. She graduated from St. Mary High School in Menasha in 1948. She married James Plach on May 21, 1949 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. He preceded her in death in March 2005. She loved collecting blown glass dolphins, bowling, traveling to their retirement home in Florida with James and going to the cottage on Post Lake.

She is survived by her children, Patricia (John) Segura, Oshkosh, Karen (Bob) Riley, Little Chute, Diane (David) Shumate, Naples, FL. Seven grandchildren, Amy (Brad) Melchiors-Kemp, Tim (Tracy) Melchiors, Christopher Melchiors, Christine (Tim) Stuczynski, Paul (Cheryl) Hartwig, Brad (Heather) Riley, Samantha McClain, five great grandchildren, Adam Melchiors, Damian Melchiors Scott and Kayle Hartwig and Aubree Riley. One brother, Robert (Lee) Mirkes, cousin, Sally Nelson, brother-in-law's, Rudy (Nancy) Plach and John Plach sister-in-law, Betty Plach.

She is preceded in death by her husband James, son, Michael and two daughters, Jean and Barbara.

A celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 09, 2016 at WICHMANN TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL AT 1592 Oneida St. Menasha.

Service will be at 2:30 with a visitation starting at 1:00.
