Marilyn L. Schommer (87) was called to her eternal home on February 15, 2023 and was reunited with her Savior and family.
She was born on October 5, 1935 to Lenard and Vera Reimer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clair (Butch) Schommer, two sisters; Jenny Collar, Carol Behm.
She is survived by her two children Gary (Jodie) Schommer, Kim (Dan) Coenen, four grandchildren: Michelle (Joe) Schwerinski, Michael (Sara) Coenen, Jill (Josh) Stevens, Katie (John) Cleven; Six great grandchildren: Sophia, Ilah, Cole, Dixon, Lucille and Holland; three siblings Sherry (Glenn) Gradl, Debby (Lyle) Hilker, Steve (Cindy) Reimer; sister-in-law Noreen Westburg and numerous nieces and nephews. She had a strong faith in her Savior and loved her family dearly.
Revelations 2:10 "Be thou faithful until death and I will give you the Crown of Life."
A memorial service will be held for Marilyn on Saturday February 25, 2023 at 11:00am at St Paul Ev Lutheran Church, 302 N Morrison Street, Appleton. Friends and family may gather at the church from 10:00am until the start of the service. Marilyn will be placed with Clair at Highland Memorial Park.
