Marilyn L. Hirsch

Marilyn L. Hirsch, age 89, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Brookdale in Appleton. Marilyn was born on August 29, 1930 in St. John, to Anna (Schmidt) Klotz and Frank Klotz. She married John P. Hirsch on October 5, 1957 at St. John Catholic Church in St. John.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law: Helen Klotz and Mary Ann Gardner along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, infant son and parents. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Eleanor (Bruno) Keuler, Viola (Francis) Sommerhalder, Lorena (Dave) Chapleau, Regina Klotz, Evelyn (Ed) Puetz and an infant sister; brothers: Nicholas (Adeline) Klotz, Edward Klotz, Elmer Klotz and John Klotz.

The funeral service for Marilyn will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Wichmann Funeral Home-Laemmrich Chapel (312 Milwaukee St., Menasha). Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Brookdale Nursing Home of Appleton and to Compassus Hospice for the care and compassion.
