Marilyn Ann Zeller, age 85, passed away at Living Tree Estates in Greenville early on Thursday morning, May 6, 2010. She was born in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Russell and Norma (Schroeder) Schuette. Marilyn was a graduate of Manitowoc's Washington High School, and also studied for one year at the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, where she met her future husband, Tony Zeller. The couple married in Manitowoc on May 31, 1947. Following Tony's military service, they relocated to the Appleton area and both took jobs at Marathon Corporation. Marilyn left the workforce when their daughter Lisa was born. Later she took classes at Lawrence University to learn how to repair fine china, took up golf, enjoyed cooking, and was a former member of the Ridgeway Golf Club.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years: Tony Zeller of Appleton; a daughter: Lisa Zeller of Appleton, and a sister: Joan Dramm of Manitowoc.
Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday morning, May 10, 2010, from 9:30 AM until the time of a brief prayer service at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Knollwood Memorial Park in Manitowoc.
The family would like to thank all of the wonderful caregivers at Living Tree Estates for everything they have done these past four years. You made Marilyn so comfortable – we will never forget your kindness.
