Age 87, died on Thursday, February 28, 2002, at St Elizabeth Hospital. Marie was born on May 28, 1914 in Hollandtown, daughter of the late James and Alice (School) Golden. She was employed at Appleton Coated Papers for 25 years, retiring in 1982. Marie will be greatly missed by her nieces, Jan (Brian) Gorzalski; Lois Schmidt; and Arlene (Scott) Wintersteen; her nephew, Lynn Szulczewski; and her cousins who lovingly cared for her during her last years, Mildred Holschuh; Catherine Van Hoof; and Grace School. Her brother, Elmer Golden; her sister, Ione Szulczewski; and her niece, Marlena Szulczewski, preceded her in death. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Monday, March 4, 2002, at ST. FRANCIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 433 County CE, Hollandtown, with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Monday, March 4, from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The family wishes to thank the staff at Care Partners, Little Chute, for their care of Marie.
