Marie “Pinky” Nicholson crossed into the Light of God's love at home in Appleton, Wisconsin on June 23, 2014, surrounded by family.
Among her many accomplishments, she was instrumental in the creation of WeeLove Day Care Center where she was fondly referred to as Aunt Pinky. She will be remembered and missed by many who she has touched with the positive, self-affirmation songs that she wrote. Pink also enjoyed reading, puzzle books, playing games and her time spent at the Sweet Marie on Long Beach Island.
Marie has now been reunited with her soul mate and the love of her life: William Nicholson; her son William P. Nicholson; as well as many family and friends.
Marie is survived by her daughters: Deborah McLaren, Robin Nicholson, Alice Nicholson, and Becky Keddell-Nicholson: eight grandchildren: Christy of Arizona, Mia (Ken) of New Jersey, Bill (Laura) of New Jersey, Kristen of Arizona, and Dave, Shane (Joanna), Mandi (Dave), and Niki (Brian) all of Wisconsin. There are also nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating Marie's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Maple Shade Congregational Church United Church of Christ, 45 North Forklanding Road, Maple Shade, New Jersey. Rev. James W. Leamon will be officiating. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
