Marie Bushnell

Marie Bushnell, 59, Appleton, passed away on June 5, 2014, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Marie was born on February 13, 1955 in Eureka California to Paul and Dorcas (Glenn) Johnson. On May 15, 1999 she married Chris Bushnell at the Salvation Army Chapel in Appleton. Marie was a fantastic homemaker and a loving mother to her children and her 3 Shih Tzu puppies, Angel, Misty and Blackie. Marie loved her time out west. She loved the mountains and the ocean. She always enjoyed visiting “home” and loved anyplace that offered a view of Mt. McLaughlin. She also liked games that made her think. Puzzles, word games and computer games were her favorites. She loved computers, tablets and tech devices of any kind and especially loved keeping in touch with family and friends on Facebook.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Chris, her children: Jamie, Jon and Jason Anderson and Christopher Bushnell; sister: Darlene (Mike) Phillips; brothers: Bob Mull; Ted Mull; Rick (life partner Mike Kranzusch) Johnson; as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Jim Mull.

A gathering to celebrate Marie's life will be on Saturday June 14, 2014 at Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of St. Elizabeth Hospital, ICU and all the Chaplains for all the care given to Marie. Also, thank you to all the people who work for Outagamie County who helped make it possible for Marie's son Christopher to visit his mom in the hospital and a very special thank you to all her friends who came to visit and gave us support.
