Marian passed away Sunday evening after a prolonged illness as the result of a benign brain tumor. Marian showed great pride and strength throughout the years as she fought to beat this affliction. She was born in Green Bay, on May 27, 1927, daughter of the late John and Sylvia (Borley) Conard. Her greatest loves were her family, faith in St. Anne and her home in Door County. Marian, a dedicated wife and mother leaves behind her loving husband, John; Daughter, Paula (John) Gorski; Sons, John (Lori), Jim (Jody) and David (Laurie); Grandchildren: David, Adam, Mitchell, Scott, Madeline, Quinn, Trevor and Elinor Grace.

The funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, Morrison Street at Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. William Hoffman officiating. Visitors will be received at the church on Thursday, March 17 from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service. The entombment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.

Mom’s family would like to extend thanks for the tremendous care provided by the staff at Parkside nursing home in Little Chute. Thanks as well to all who helped and lent their support over the years. Marian was deeply loved and will be missed dearly.
