Marguerite J. "Marge" Laehn

Marguerite J. “Marge” Laehn, age 93, of Appleton, passed away at Oakridge Gardens, Menasha, on Saturday, October 21, 2017. Marge was born on January 6, 1924, in Appleton, to the late William and Ottilie (Wirth) Koepke. She married Walter “Wally” Laehn on June 8, 1946, in Appleton; he preceded her in death on January 13, 1998. Marge was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was well-known for her dedication to her family and her faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Charlene L. (Howard) Ridgeway and Noreen (Henry) Boselie; her grandchildren, Craig (Robin) Laehn, Ryan (Holly) Boselie, Amy (Luke) Strenn and Stacey (Craig) Roth; her great grandchildren, Jack, Morgan, Sydney Katherine, Sydney Ann, Braylon and Grayson; Megan, Alexa, Ryder, Adelynn, Tessa, Sawyer, Kayla and Kaitlyn. Marge was preceded in death by her siblings, Louise (Harry) Schroeder, William (Audrey) Koepke and Carlton Koepke.

Funeral services for Marge will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at RIVERVIEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 136 W. Seymour Street, Appleton, with Rev. Dennis Belter officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Oakridge Gardens for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to benefit Riverview Ev.
