Margaret M. Riedel(Sanders) October 12, 1935 – March 18, 2025

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Margaret M. Riedel, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, who peacefully left us on March 18, 2025, at the age of 89.

Margaret was born on October 12, 1935, and proudly spent much of her life as an accountant at the credit union, where she was known for her meticulous work ethic and commitment to excellence. Throughout her career, she earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues and customers alike.

Above all, Margaret cherished her family. She is survived by her two daughters, Lynn (Tim) Mentzel and Jean (Victor) Magnus, as well as her cherished grandchildren Britney Vera, Kelci (Joe) Brock, Stacy Sipiorski (David Arrowood), Victor Jr (Jacqueline) Magnus, and great-grandchildren Trenton, Cadin, Addilyn, Grace, Finn, Urijah, and Kinzley. Margaret’s love for her family was evident in all that she did, and she found immense joy in spending time with them, creating memories that will live on in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph M. Riedel Jr., with whom she shared many happy years of marriage. Together, they built a family and a life filled with love and laughter.

She was survived and proceeded in death by multiple siblings and extended family members.

A private gathering for the inurnment at St. Mary’s Cemetery will be held at a later date.
