Age 85, died Saturday afternoon, May 10, 2003, at Cherry Meadows, Appleton. Margaret was born on January 31, 1918, in Superior to the late Martin and Emma (Oliver) Egan. She married Harold K. Jansen on June 15, 1940; he preceded her in death on December 6, 1999. Margaret was well-known for her sunny disposition and her enjoyment of singing, crafts and bingo. Survivors included her daughters, Darlene (Richard) Winkler, Winnecone, and Pat (Butch) Springer, Barnes, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Cindy (Cam) Rolland, Minneapolis; Todd (Brenda) Wyman, Winchester; Vickie (Don) Vanden Heuvel, Kimberly; Steven (Rene) Springer, Madison; and Tony (Helen) Springer, Menasha; and her eight great grandchildren. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
