Margaret Linsmeyer, 100, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Rennes Health and Rehab.

Margaret was born on January 4, 1917 to Joseph and Frances (Duffek) Linsmeyer in Seymour. She worked for Appleton Papers for 35 years before retiring in 1980. Margaret was always walking and loved gardening. She enjoyed traveling with her great niece and her family. Margaret loved watching her great great nephews, they were her pride and joy. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and was deeply religious.

Margaret is survived by her great niece Barb (Dan) Carpenter and their children Zach, Adam and Tyler, Sister-in-law Jane Linsmeyer, and special friends Gloria and Larry Nelson, other relatives and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; Frank (Jean) Linsmeyer, Joseph (Theresa) Linsmeyer, Loretta (Paul) Steffens, Matilda (John) Hermes, Leonard Linsmeyer, Edward Linsmeyer, Ida (Norman) Kemkes, Elise Linsmeyer and Mary Linsmeyer, a special cousin Lorraine McCarthy and her cat Fluffy.

The funeral service for Margaret will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 1:30 PM at the STAR OF HOPE CHAPEL AT HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK, 3131 N. Richmond St. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until the time of the service.
