Margaret L. Woytych, 91, passed away on July 7, 2016 at home on her birthday.
Margaret was born on July 7, 1925 in Park Falls to Merton and Anne (Draxler) Kennedy. On August 27, 1949 she was united in marriage to Edward Woytych, who hitchhiked “around the world” between Milwaukee and Fond du Lac, to see Margaret. She worked as a nurse for 23 years at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was very active in her faith and was a lector for many years at St. Pius X. Margaret's family was the most important thing to her and the special times they shared will always be cherished.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 66 years, Edward, six children; Kathy Woytych, Pat (Linda) Woytych, Mike (Mary Clare) Woytych, Mary (Steve) Grinnell, Teri (Walter) Musekamp, Tom (Lisa) Woytych, 17 grandchildren; Matthew Woytych, Michelle (Dan) Kinney, Mitch (Amanda) Woytych, Timothy, Sean, Mary Elizabeth, and Nicholas Woytych, David Grinnell, Ryan (Lauren) Grinnell, Christopher Grinnell, Sam (Scott) Wildeman, Dan, Laura, and Sara Musekamp, Zach, Alex, and Ben Woytych, 5 great grandchildren; Gabe, Nora, Julia, Simon and Isaac, a brother Joe Kennedy, a sister-in-law Sue Woytych, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Maxine (Phil) Brich, and Carol (Bob) Hoffman, a sister-in-law, Renate Kennedy, two brothers-in-law; Jack and Dick Woytych.
The funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM at ST PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church. Internment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
