MARGARET L. FRAKES

Age 85, died Monday, December 10, 2001, at Juliette Manor, Berlin. Margaret was born on January 3, 1916, in Poy Sippi, to the late James and Minnie (Witt) Clark. She married Gordon Frakes on June 29, 1935; he preceded her in death in March of 1962. With her husband, Margaret owned and operated Avenue Dry Cleaners in Appleton. She was briefly employed at Peerless Cleaners, Appleton, prior to her retirement. Survivors include her brother, Harlan (Lucille) Clark, Redgranite; and her sisters-in-law, Opal Clark, Wautoma; Dorothy Clark, Redgranite; Hazel Petersen, California; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James, George and Donald Clark. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2001, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 North Superior Street, Appleton, with Deacon Bill Burke officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Juliette Manor for their loving care.
