Dugolenski, Margaret Jeane
Jeane Dugolenski, age 79, of Oshkosh, was born into Eternal Life on Monday, April 9, 2007. She was born in Iselin, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George and Helen (Jake) Harvot and was the seventh child in a family of ten children. Upon graduation from high school, Jeane moved to Oshkosh, Wisconsin to live with her dear sister, Anna. She began her career as a waitress at the Peacock where she met many people, some who became her close friends. She loved learning about others and was truly interested in the stories of their lives. On August 7, 1948, she was united in marriage to Frank Burgert at St. Mary Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Their children, Diane (Thomas) Belot, Kohler, and Brian (Michelle) Burgert, Oshkosh, survive her.
On May 25, 1976 Jeane married Walter Dugolenski, and they were devoted to each other for 23 years. There are many happy memories of the fun they shared, dining and dancing on the weekends. Jeane loved taking long walks downtown to shop or meet with friends. Maintaining her home, yard, and flowers brought her great pleasure. An avid Packer fan, Jeane enjoyed watching the games and always knew the upcoming opponent. She stayed interested in current events throughout her life and watched many news programs. She was blessed with an outstanding memory and was quick to remind family and friends of subjects discussed at previous visits. She had a flair for fashion, loved the color pink, was fun to be with, and had a great laugh!
Jeane is further survived by her grandchildren: Michael (Katie) Belot, Eden Prairie, MN; Erin Belot, Fitchburg, WI; and Bryan, Brandon, and Beau Burgert, Oshkosh. Other survivors include her sister, Stella Galbert of New York, brothers; Richard (Caryl) Harvot and James (Gloria) Harvot, Oshkosh; dear sisters-in-law, Frances Burgert and Priscilla Dlugolenski, Oshkosh, devoted friends; Laura Belot, Neenah, and Julie Ledger, Oshkosh,
an aunt, Catherine Kudiash, New York, and cousins; Elizabeth Milligan, Margaret Magliochette, and Dorothy Esquino, all of Pennsylvania. Further survivors include many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jeane was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dugolenski, on June 13, 1999, her parents, brothers John and Frank Harvot; sisters, Anna Krueger, Helen Ryan, Frances Graziano, and Dolores Lupyan. The father of her children, Frank Burgert, passed away November 9, 2001.
