Margaret “Maggie” Lorraine (Schultz) Graves, age 93, was reunited with her husband on Christmas Day, 2024. She was born on November 29, 1931, in Foxboro, WI.
Maggie married Dale D. Graves on March 27, 1950.
After the birth of their first son Dale R., the family moved to the Fox Valley area.
Maggie was a devoted wife for 60 years, and they filled their home with children and laughter.
She loved listening to “The King” Elvis, enjoyed puttering in her garden and traveling. She had a “bucket hat” that she adorned with pins from each location she and Dale visited in their lifetime together. As a couple, they enjoyed their motorcycle adventures.
Maggie was a bit of a foodie, and when planning travels, they often would mindfully eat foods related to the locales they would be visiting. She especially enjoyed southwest food and décor.
A devoted Bears fan, she proudly wore her blue and orange on game days. Outside of those events, Maggie was a bit of a fashion plate, and always had herself put together.
Maggie is survived by her children: Darrell (Belinda Hale-Graves) Graves, Jeff (Lynn) Graves and Sandra Reddock; grandchildren: Haley, Stacey, Douglas Graves, Jennifer Jackson and Paula Graves … in addition to many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dale D, her son Dale R., and many other family and friends.
A memorial service will take place at 1:00pm at Wichmann Funeral Home-Tri County Chapel, 1592 S Oneida St, Appleton on January 2, 2024, at 1:00pm. Maggie will be placed with her husband at Central Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery, King, WI.
