Margaret G. Mader

Margaret Mader, age 81 of Menasha, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2018. Margaret was born in Neenah on January 15, 1937, daughter of the late Kenneth and Grace (Baldauf) Dietz. Margaret attended Trinity Lutheran School in Menasha through the 8th grade, and was a 1957 graduate of the Neenah High School.

On October 28, 1967, she married Donald Mader, who currently resides in Menasha. In her younger years, Margaret was employed at Jandrey’s Department Store. For many years, she and Don have been active members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Menasha where Margaret was also a member of the Walther League.

Survivors include her husband: Donald Mader of Menasha; a brother: John (Mary) Dietz of Georgia and their daughter Holly and her family; and Don’s cousin: Shirley Kavanaugh of Appleton.

A private memorial service is being held for Margaret, and burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah.
