MARGARET E. REHFELDT

Age 91, was called to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, August 21, 2003. Margaret was born on January 27, 1912, Appleton, to the late Herman and Gertrude (Sternagel) Horn. She married Louis M. Rehfeldt on November 5, 1949; he preceded her in death. Margaret was a cook at F. W. Woolworth for 25 years; volunteered at the Appleton Medical Center gift shop; was a long-time member of Mount Olive Ev. Lutheran Church and a was a member of Mt. Olive’s Ladies Aid and Altar Guild. She was very devoted to her family and friends; she loved to bake and cook. Margaret especially enjoyed time spent with her great-grandson Kaleb, whom she called “My Sunshine.”
Survivors include her daughter, Pat (Robert) Bellin; her granddaughters, Luanne Zuleger and Lori Farragh; her grandson Michael Farragh; and her great grandson, Kaleb Farragh. She is further survived by special nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2003, at MT. OLIVE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 930 East Florida Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. Robert Raasch officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial fund has been established in Margaret’s name to benefit Mt. Olive Ev. Lutheran Church. The family of Margaret would like to thank Dr. Amy Servais; all of Margaret’s caregivers at Colony Oaks; all the staff on 5 East at St. Elizabeth Hospital for all their special care and support; and also her caregivers on Station 1 at ManorCare. We would like to also extend special thanks to Mt. Olive’s Pastoral Services.
