Margaret “Meg” Ann Roherty, 55, of Appleton, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a two-year battle with cancer. Meg was born in Neopit, Wisconsin, on June 12, 1950, to Cecilia Kaquatosh and Albert Brown. She lived in the Peshtigo area much of her life before moving to Appleton in 1983. She attended school at the Milwaukee College of Beauty Culture, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and Fox Valley Technical College. She was a waitress and hostess for many years in the Peshtigo area and downtown Appleton, most recently at Trim B’s Restaurant. She was a member of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians.
Meg is survived by her husband, Dan; a daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Arnold of Green Bay; a son, Marcus Falkenberg of Appleton; four granddaughters, Haley, Hannah, Kaitlyn and Kelsey; a brother, Arnold, of Dallas; and a sister, Mary, of Neenah. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM Friday at the Wichmann Funeral Home in Appleton, followed by a memorial service from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A memorial fund has been established.
